If suddenly your applications open without focus (in the background)
Normally when you run a new program, its window appears at the top of any other program you may have open, unless you press the Ctrl key. After using some programs that are supposed to download and install for you the latest drivers of your applications and hardware, you may have damaged your system.
If you pay attention you may realize that the focus-problem occurs only when you open a program using the special keys of your Microsoft keyboard. If you open a program from the Start Menu or by clicking its executable in Windows Explorer, etc, it opens as usual, at the top of everything else. It seems that your Intellitype Software which comes with your keyboard and the drivers of your keyboard need to be re-installed.
To solve the focus problem, uninstall your Intellitype software and your keyboard, and install them again after you download by yourself the latest Intellitype version from Microsoft.
