ExplorerPatcher is a free Windows tool that promises to enhance the current Windows environment, and it keeps its promise! In my case, the greatest problems came from the taskbar and Windows file explorer.

I needed the Windows 10 ribbon instead of the minimal Windows 11 toolbar and I needed full right click (context) menus immediately. At the taskbar ExplorerPatcher let me use the Windows 10 feature of displaying the progress of a task (e.g. the playback of track) on the full taskbar button instead of only on the player’s icon!

Microsoft has its policies on how to improve Windows. This doesn’t mean all decisions are perfect. ExplorerPatcher adds flexibility, letting you decide some crucial aspects of the OS, that will make your life a lot easier.
