Glass Calendar is an extremely simple and light gadget that will let you dedicate a prominent place to the current date. The gadget displays the name of the current day, a large date number, current month and year in a smaller typeface. Glass Calendar features a blur semitransparent or “glass” effect, it is elegant and it provides two modes, a smaller and a large one you can place at a corner of the screen if you like even greater emphasis.

Birthday Reminder will alert you to birthdays you need to remember. Clicking the Options button allows you to manage birthdays, choose how far in advance you want to be reminded for each one, which icon you’d like to use for that person, and more.

Microsoft Calendar Gadget resembles those wall calendars featuring the date, but also an overview of the whole month.
