Have you lost your Language Bar? Get it back!

After installing and uninstalling many programs and services, you might find your computer without a language bar!

The Language Bar is needed when you use more than one language, and is enabled in Control Panel’s Regional and Language Options.

If in the past you have enabled and used the language bar, but now it is lost and the option to enable it is grayed out, even the right-click selection of toolbars in the taskbar does nothing, here is what you should do.

Go to Control Panel, Regional and Language Options – Languages – Details – Advanced, and click to remove the checkmark from Turn Off Advanced Text Services.

This option does not turn off the language bar only for East Asian users, but for all users.
