Watch any number of folders for changes, with Folder Monitor
Folder Monitor is a free and portable tool that lets you watch and log a group of folders for additions of new files, deletions, name changes, etc.
The program lets you define easily (local or network) folders to be monitored, the alerts you receive when some action occurs in those folders, including sound alerts and popup reports.
Note that adding a folder you can also include all of its subfolders, or not. You can also have the program run other programs after specific actions that occur in your monitored folders.
Folder Monitor is a useful and simple app, and it can become even more useful if you combine it with batch files.
