Make Firefox safer with NoScript
NoScript is an efficient, free and important Firefox extension, that will let you add a layer of protection. It permits JavaScript, Java, Flash and other plugins to function only in trusted web sites you select explicitly.
NoScript features also anti-XSS and anti-Clickjacking protection. You can enable JavaScript, Java and plugin execution for sites you trust with a simple left-click on the NoScript status bar icon, or using the contextual menu.
The extension is able to display a report with the blocked scripts in the toolbar. Websites you do not want to be affected by restrictions can be added to a whitelist, with export and import features using simple txt files.
You can also unblock scripts temporarily for a site you don’t want to add to your whitelist permanently, just to enable features you need at the moment.
