Fix secure and insecure data mix on a WordPress site, with SSL Insecure Content Fixer

If you have an SSL certificate installed on your server and Full SSL mode enabled in Cloudflare, normally your WordPress site works fine, a security padlock appears in the browser, and all functions are executed without problems.

If for any reason, even because you don’t have an SSL certificate installed in your server and you rely only to Cloudflare, your site may try to load mixed content, secure and insecure, then problems start to appear, the security padlock is lost, redirects, 404 or other error pages, you may even be unable to enter your admin pages.

If you cannot even login to your admin area of your WordPress site, read this post about WordPress constant redirections caused by flexible SSL to solve the problem easily, otherwise keep reading.

SSL Insecure Content Fixer is a plugin you won’t face difficulties to use. After activation, go to its Settings. Normally “simple” mode is all that you need, and its the default option. Then the plugin detects itself how your pages are loaded over HTTPS and suggest the right option for your site. Check this option, save your settings, and that’s all! You just need to login again to your site after the activation of these settings. Enjoy!
