MS Word Page Width View toolbar button and keyboard shortcut

You know perhaps this Word annoyance, when you open several documents the program tends to forget individual zoom settings. Next time you open some of these documents, you will be surprised by the loss of your beloved zoom level!

I like Page Width view, because I use Window Manipulator to adjust the size of any window easily, and it is convenient to have the document zoom level follow the changes of Word’s window.

To activate Page Width view whenever Word forgot my preference, I have a macro that corresponds to a button (you can assign it to a keyboard shortcut, if you will), I placed at the Ribbon, so that I can instantly activate this mode.

You can download this macro from this page and import it to Word, then go to options and assign a button or shortcut to it.

Read this post if you are not familiar with importing MS Word macros using .bas files.
