Are you unable to execute files in the temporary directory

You may try to install a program, running some executable (.exe) file, only to receive the following Windows error:

Unable to execute file in the temporary directory. Setup aborted. Error 5: Access is denied.

Most probably the file you try to run and also your system, is just fine. This alert is one of the symptoms of increased Windows security.

Instead of double clicking on your file, you need to right click and select the option “Run as administrator.” Enjoy!
