I was mad with Google and WordPress for doing God knows what, degrading the performance of their search boxes and editors. I was pressing a key on my keyboard now, and the effect was visible on screen after ages!

This is not a problem with WordPress and certainly not with Google. The WordPress editor is a little ‘slow’, it suffers from some latency, but not that annoying. What makes the problem really unbearable, is a little utility that I had to auto save on-line form data.

If you use a browser extension that records everything you type in forms, in order to have it again available in case something happens and you need to fill again your form, try to disable it and see if your problem is solved.
