Remove Pin to Start from the context menu of Windows
Windows 8.1 adds an option in the context menu of files and folders to pin them to the Start screen.
If you find this annoying, accidentally adding all the time several items to Start, then having to ‘unpin’ them, there is an easy way to remove from the context menu the “pin to start” option.
Just download this archive and run the included simple merge.reg file to merge the necessary changes in the Windows registry.
You may like first to create a system restore point or otherwise backup your registry.
