I was mad with Google and WordPress for doing God knows what, degrading the performance of their search boxes and editors. I was pressing a key on my keyboard now, and the effect was visible on screen after ages!
This is not a problem with WordPress and certainly not with Google. The WordPress editor is a little ‘slow’, it suffers from some latency, but not that annoying. What makes the problem really unbearable, is a little utility called Lazarus.
Lazarus is a browser extension that records everything you type in forms, in order to have it again available in case something happens and you need to fill again your form.
Disable Lazarus, and you will find again your lost speed! If you don’t use Lazarus, check your browser addons in case some similar tool causes you all this delay.
