Scan QR Codes, Data Matrix and Barcodes for information, with Barcode Scanner for Android
Barcode Scanner is a free Android app that lets you easily scan QR Codes, Data Matrix and Barcodes to get encoded information such as URLs, addresses, passwords, etc. You can also combine this app with Clipboard to QR-Code if you like to transfer information from your PC to your mobile device.
Note that the app needs access to your contacts to let you share them using QR Codes.
In case there is an issue with your device, the app provides some settings you can try one by one to see if any of them fixes it.
The interface is simple and you will be able to use it immediately. Just point your device and read; then the app decodes the scanned image letting you use its content. Scans can also be saved for later use.
