It only needs a few clicks to replace Bing with Google as your default search engine in Edge.

The secret though is that you need to have used Google search before, in order for Edge to make it available on its list of search engines.

Therefore, open Edge and browse to the page of Google. When you are there go to the Settings of Edge, then to View advanced settings, at the bottom of the panel, then to Change search engine.

Choose Google from the list, press the Set as default button, and enjoy!
