Convert video and audio between several formats, even with filters, using Shana Encoder
Shana is a free media Encoder that will let you perform several conversions, even with filters or embedding subtitles.
Among the formats supported are AVI, MP4, MKV, 3GP, MOV, MPEG, WMV, and more.
The interface is not exciting, but convenient and easy to use. To load files you can drag and drop them or use the Open dialogue. Of course you can convert in batch mode a lot of files.
Video filters include brightness, sharpness, saturation, contrast, gamma, deinterlace, and more. You can also apply several styles to subtitles.
