Examine your PC with CPU-Z
CPU-Z is a free utility that will gather information on some of the main devices of your system – CPU, Mainboard, Memory, System (Windows and DirectX version).
CPU-Z uses a configuration file, cpuz.ini, that allows to set several parameters for the program. This file must be in the same directory as cpuz.exe.
The program is small and convenient. It lets you also export the results in a text file.
