Configure Windows to start always with NumLock On or Off
You may need to have Windows start always with NumLock on or off. It’s an easy and safe configuration you can enjoy, provided you are a little familiar with the registry editor.
Go to \HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Keyboard and create or edit a String Value with the name InitialKeyboardIndicators
Give this string as value data “1” (without quotes) to disable NumLock by default in Windows start.
Give a value of “2” if you need to have NumLock On by default whenever you start Windows.
