I use the G700 mouse and strange things happen — sometimes all profile customizations are lost, have reverted to the default settings, or mouse speed changes, etc.

For the moment, there is no way to avoid these things; if you keep using LGS, however, are you absolutely sure you need it?

Logitech SetPoint, the main Logitech software, contains profile settings too, along with macros. It will even let you import and export profile settings to XML files!, and best of all, it may not have the problems of Logi Gaming Software.

Therefore, if you have this problem and until it is fixed, think about uninstalling LGS as a temporary solution, using instead only the SetPoint software, making also sure to uncheck the option “Use OS native drivers for pointer speed and acceleration.”
