SmartFTP used to be a nice and free ftp application. Fortunately SmartFTP is now commercial, which let me try FileZilla and find out how impressive it is. FileZilla is very easy to use, it supports profiles, export and import of settings, synchronized browsing, and is very fast.
FileZilla is a reliable ftp tool.
