Auto Shutdown Windows after VLC or any media player finishes a playlist
I like to listen to some music as I go to sleep.
There exist Winamp plugins that will shutdown the PC after Winamp finishes a playlist — but I haven’t found some VLC or XMPlay plugin that would shutdown Windows.
There is a way for the job to be done in the easiest, although not ‘perfect’, way. You can use a utility that will shutdown your PC after a predefined time. Have your favorite player start playing and let this utility turn off the PC when the time needed for the playlist to finish is over.
Check also VLC Untied, a small and free utility that lets you select one or more files or folders in Windows Explorer and load them to VLC media player instantly using a keyboard shortcut.
