CKsEnumFilters::EnumFilters failed in media players such as Winamp

CKsEnumFilters::EnumFilters failed is an error usually caused by some plugin you may have in the plugins folder of your media player.

In the case of Winamp this error comes from the Kernel Streaming plugin.

Since Winamp won’t open, you cannot uninstall Kernel Streaming from inside the program, you need to go to the installation folder of Winamp, normally at \Program Files (x86)\Winamp\Plugins, find there a file named out_ks363.dll and move it to a different folder.

Note that if you want bit to bit accurate sound in Winamp you can use other plugins that work fine, such as Asio4All or Wasapi. Enjoy!
