Extract or create compressed archives, with PeaZip

PeaZip is a free program that extracts most archive formats, from mainstream ones like 7Z, RAR, TAR and ZIP to experimental like the PAQ/LPAQ family. PeaZip supports the creation of archives in a wide range of compression and encryption standards, allowing to export a job’s definition as scripts in order to bridge the gap between GUI and console applications. It can verify file checksum and hash, and it supports multiple strong encryption standards, optionally using two factors authentication (password and keyfile) for increased security.

PeaZip allows the application of multiple search filters to archive’s contents; creating and extracting many archives at once; creating self-extracting archives; bookmarking archives and folders; strong encryption, split/join files (file span);

Secure data deletion, compare, checksum and hash files, system benchmark, generation of random passwords and keyfiles.

PeaZip is available as standalone, portable, application, not needing setup, or with an installer that will add PeaZip to the context and SendTo menus of Windows Explorer.
