Apply live effects to multi-track music, even using VST, with DJ Giada
Giada is a free and portable (no need to install) program that will let a DJ apply live several sound effects to audio tracks.
To understand the buttons just try them, because you won’t find any guide in the program. You can create as many channels as you need. For any of them you can start editing using the right-click menu to select the task.
The built-in editor helps you adjust the volume, boost the input or normalize the file. Altering the pitch is also possible. In case you select a loaded waveform, you can silence it, fade in or out the sound, smooth edges and more.
The support for VST instruments, numerous loops and the precise looping system the program comes with, barely compensate the hard time beginners will have trying to control this software. However, if you have a special interest in this sort of music processing, you may like to have this program in your collection.
