However, there are some tricks you can use to enjoy the speed and convenience of keyboard shortcuts for basic needs.

To view your post after edits and updates you don’t have to move you mouse and click the “view” button or the permanent link. As you may know, pressing a letter key forces Chrome to begin searching in the current page. If you press the “v” Chrome selects the v of the “view post” option in the admin bar! Then press Enter and enjoy! Chrome loads your post and you can see in action all your edits!

What if you wanted to preview instead of viewing? In this case, after you finish your edits press once the “tab” key to leave the WordPress editor, and then the “p” and “r” keys. Chrome selects the “Preview” button. Now press Enter and enjoy your preview!
