Dynamic Log Viewer is a free, portable (no need to install) and convenient plain text viewer able to reflect in real time updates of log files you may need to watch.
The program features a clean and simple interface and is able to change encoding and print your log files.
A nice feature is the option to disable auto scroll in case you need to examine some part of the file without being interrupted by newly added data.
As you can guess Dynamic Log Viewer lets you also perform searches, enable full screen view, change font, etc.
