Replace Windows Notepad with Notepad Plus Plus advanced plain text editor
Notepad++ is a free source code editor and MS Windows Notepad replacement.
Fortunately there are available a lot of advanced plain text editors, and this one is among the best. My only complaint is the way it searches, forcing you to choose one direction at a time.
