Enhance mouse scrolling in older Windows, with KatMouse
by
·
KatMouse is a free application useful mainly if you are still on older Windows versions.
It will enhance the functionality of your mouse’s scroll wheel with ‘universal’ scrolling.
Moving the mouse wheel scrolls whatever window directly beneath the mouse cursor (not the active, the one with the keyboard focus).
Besides this, I’ve found out that KatMouse can scroll one page up or down even when MS software only scrolls a few lines, e.g. in font or style lists of word processors and elsewhere. Note that in Windows 10 the program works but is severely crippled.
