Download WASAPI bit exact output, to make Foobar a high end player
WASAPI output support is a Component (plugin) for the Foobar2000 Media Player, adding to the Windows Audio Session API exclusive mode output support, allowing bit-exact output and muting all other system sounds.
An Asio plugin offers similar functionality, but you need also asio drivers, while Wasapi works by itself.
A Kernel Streaming plugin for Foobar2000 is also similar, but it did not work on my system.
