Percentage is a small, portable (no need to install), free and efficient utility that will let you monitor your battery status right in the Windows taskbar.

As you know Windows shows battery level in a battery icon which, however, won’t let you know the exact percentage of remaining power unless you place the cursor above it. Percentage is a free utility you can use to get rid of this problem and enjoy knowing the exact number of your battery’s remaining power.

Note that Percentage won’t let you customize font size and background color; it is made to look similar to default system tray items in the usual form, when the taskbar is black.
