If you need to test a monitor for dear or stuck pixels, this free and portable utility provides reliable tests you can use. IsMyLcdOK won’t put you to any trouble, it is easy enough to be used even by novices.
Since the program won’t need installation you can have it on a movable drive to use it easily on any PC you may like.
Tests included in the program’s menu are white, blue, red and purple, lines, gradients, and much more.
You have to be blind to avoid discovering those problematic pixels after these tests. You can use all or any of them until you are sure the monitor is or is not healthy.
