If a style is missing from MS Word Styles Pane

You may need to modify a style in your Word document, but when you open the Styles Pane this style won’t show up. If you right click on a text that uses this style, the style remains invisible.

To modify a style that seems unavailable or protected, open the Styles pane (press the little arrow at the bottom right corner in the Styles section of the main Word toolbar (Home). When the Styles pane opens, press the bottom right button (Manage Styles).

When the “Manage Styles” dialogue opens you see the style that you need to edit. Activate the second tab (Recommend) and press the “Show” button in order to have this style always visible and available at the main Styles pane. This way you are able to modify it easily whenever you want.

Enjoy!

Being yourself an author or student you will perhaps appreciate especially this feature, that the very structure of the book will teach you how to work.

The book contains even chapters on how to prepare a document for professional publishers such as Amazon.

Reading Steven Adams' Writing a book or thesis in Microsoft Word you are surprised realizing it makes you want to work -- to think, write, use Word and be creative!
