If MS Word leaves isolated words (orphan) on the previous or next page
It is not professional to have a document with empty pages, having only a few words, the ending of the previous page’s paragraph, or pages that end with a few words from the start of the next page’s paragraph.
It’s not difficult to stop MS Word from doing that!
Go to the Home tab, right click the Normal style and select the “Modify” option. Then go to “Paragraph” > “Line and page breaks” and select the option “Widow/Orphan control.”
Enjoy!
