Close one or several programs from a command prompt or batch file, with CloseApp

CloseApp is a small and very efficient command-line tool that will let you close any process that matches an executable file (e.g. CloseApp notepad.exe).
Alternatively, you can pass a DLL filename as a parameter to close all processes using that library. If you run closeapp.exe without any parameters from a Command Prompt, you can learn more about its syntax.
There are many utilities that will launch a program or group of programs. CloseApp in a batch file is able to close a program or a group of programs.
CloseApp is now commercial. Here I publish the last free version.
