TextConverter is a powerful free program that lets you edit plain text files to remove or apply html formatting, find and replace text, insert text, insert brakes, split to several pages or merge text files, number lines, and more.
The interface isn’t anything exciting, but it is convenient. Load the text files that you need to edit, and you will find easily the way to do whatever you need to do.
A nice feature of the program is that it lets you decide if corrections are applied to original files or to new files TextConverter can create automatically.
Note that the free version is offered with some limitations, you cannot load more than 10 files, make more than 3 changes or search the files for keywords.
