Make deleted files unrecoverable overwriting free space with Prevent Restore

As you might know already, any deleted file still exists on your disk until some other file overwrites it.

The main purpose of “Prevent Restore” Windows freeware program is to make deleted files and folders unrecoverable.

“Prevent Restore” will overwrite with random data all free space on your hard disks that can contain fragments of deleted files.

Complete anti-recovery process can take up to one hour or even more on a large disk. You can leave “Prevent Restore” and it will turn off the computer.

There is also a built-in option to prevent computer StandBy, so that all operations will finish.

Note that while working “Prevent Restore” occupies all of the free disk space, making sure that all of it will be overwritten.
