Make Windows open the main ahk script with Notepad plus plus
We can always right click an ahk file to open it with Notepad plus plus; problems appear if we need to edit the main ahk script, when we right click its icon at the Windows taskbar (system tray). This file opens with the default Windows Notepad, which is not of exemplary convenience.
This functionality can change easily with a registry adjustment. Open your Notepad, paste the lines that follow, save your file with a .reg extention, and run it to configure the registry and enjoy!
Make sure that you change the path to Notepad plus plus, if you have it installed in a different folder:
