Auto tag music files even according to their acoustic fingerprint, with Metatogger
Metatogger is a free and convenient app that will help add automatically or not tags to your audio files, correct the existing ones, if they need correction, using a local MusicBrainz Database or even acoustic fingerprint.
You can add files using drag and drop or the file browser, but there is no context menu entry in Windows Explorer to use.
More features: C# scripts can automate tagging, file name or paths can become tags, tags can become file names, check for duplicates, use tags to organize (copy, move, etc.) your files, update covers and lyrics, clean tags you don’t want.
Duplicates are found using Acoustid fingerprint recognition, which means that they don’t need to be strictly identical.
Metatogger supports Ogg Vorbis, MP3, AAC / ALAC, FlAC, WMA files.
