MS Word macro to create automatically Drop Caps
If you ever tried to use Drop Caps for your chapters in a Word Document you know it is rather painful, to follow this same chain of actions all the time, just because Word won’t let you save any profiles for Drop Caps.
To solve this problem you can download here and import in Word a macro that can be assigned to a keyboard shortcut.
Just put your mouse cursor to the beginning of the sentence and this macro will transform the first letter to a Drop Cap.
The macro uses Arial as its font face, but you edit it easily to use any font face you like. You can change also the number of lines the Drop Cap is tall and the distance from the text.
Read this post if you are not familiar with importing MS Word macros using .bas files.
Enjoy!
