If VLC audio is interrupted by frequent and brief pauses of silence
Without any obvious reason, some (not all) of my videos would not play well. Very brief silences interrupted their sound.
I reversed hardware acceleration and other options that seemed somehow relevant, without success.
The only change that worked, was of that of the Audio Output module.
Check also VLC Untied, a small and free utility that lets you select one or more files or folders in Windows Explorer and load them to VLC media player instantly using a keyboard shortcut.
