You can import in newer Word versions your Word 2010 macros
Glad to see that all of my older Word macros work without the slightest problem even now. If you upgrade your Office, your own old macros too will be functioning — if they exist!
It was a frightening experience when I saw, after the upgrade, that all of my macros disappeared! Obviously Word used its default “Normal” template and not the one containing my macros.
To avoid finding a Word empty of the macros you have painfully created or found on line and selected, export all of them. After Office finishes installation, import them again to the new Normal template.
You don’t have anything else to do, but assign a keyboard shortcut to each of them, if you need to.
Read this post if you are not familiar with importing MS Word macros using .bas files.
