Sort your text, count lines or words, remove spaces, with WinSorter

WinSorter is a small, portable (no need to install) and free program that will let you manipulate selected text in various ways, such as converting the case, sorting, counting characters, lines, words, and more.

All you need to do is select the text you want transformed and click on the tray icon to bring up the available options, which include case transformations, removing spaces or underscores, converting Percent20 (UrlEncode) to spaces, ROT substitution…

You can also sort list items alphabetically or numerically, count lines and characters, or calculate the sum and average of selected number values.

Conversion results are applied directly to the selected text (if it allows editing) and also copied to the clipboard.

WinSorter is a portable application that runs in the system tray and works with any program that allows you to select text. Unfortunately WinSorter won’t work on Windows Explorer file or folder names.
