Media Companion is a free application that lets you retrieve or add manually information about movies you have seen or collect. The program is easy to use, although not that modern in its design.
It can connect to IMDB to get movie information, from plot to cast, anything you may like to have for a movie.
Media Companion is able to add several movies or TV shows and series at once in its database and sort them according to their details — director, genre, etc. Note that the program is able to retrieve information about different seasons of TV series, including what episodes you may not have and need to obtain.
