Regbak is a free and easy to use program that will let you create backups of the Windows registry.
You can use Regbak to take periodic backups of the Registry so that, if it becomes corrupted, you will be able to restore a good and working version.
You can create backups of the Registry files to a location of your choice and restore these files whenever you need to. The default backup folder is ‘Regbak’ inside your ‘Windows’ folder, but you can set your own locations.
By default the ‘System’ and ‘Current User’ hives are selected for a backup. You can instruct the program to backup the rest of the hives too by enabling the ‘Other Available Hives’ option.
