Easy Speech2Text is a free program supposedly able to recognize the voice from MP3 and / or FLAC audio files, to convert it to text using machine learning modes. The program is supposedly powered by Google machine learning and other engines.

To try Easy Speech2Text I opened a file with a lecture, only to receive a message that the program won’t process more than 5 minutes.

OK. I tried a 4 minutes speech. Easy Speech2Text started to process the file, and it seemed to be working for several minutes. Then it stopped giving this “Error: Audio file is too large!”

I lost a lot of time with this app and of course I wouldn’t recommend it.
