Export and import Microsoft Word Macros in BAS files
You may like to give a macro to someone or import a macro in Word. A convenient way to do it is using .bas files.
To import one or more macros included in a .bas file, when you are in Word press Alt+F11 to open the VB Editor.
In VB Editor go to “File” > “Import”, or just press Ctrl+M.
In the dialog that opens, find and select the .bas file to import your macro. That’s it!
To export your macros, when you are in the VB Editor go to “File” > “Export”, or press Ctrl+E.
Give a name to your .bas file, and enjoy!
