Hangman is a PC version of the well known game where you try to guess a word, and for each mistake you make a gibbet is built and a part of your body is hanged upon it!
You have only 10 chances to find the letters, and you can choose the length of the word before the program selects one.
The English dictionary included in Hangman is rather big (170,000 words, 2 MB), but, if you can’t wait 20 seconds for the game to open, you can easily replace this dictionary with a smaller one; it is just a simple text file with words in a column.
No need to say that playing hangman is also a great exercise in English. If you are after fun or after education, this is a game you would like to download.
