RedX HTML encoder is a light free utility that will let you encode any special characters of a text, allowing the output to be used directly in an HTML document.
There are many special characters that require encoding if they are to be used in an HTML document.
For example, < should not be used directly in HTML text as it will be mistaken for an opening tag; this symbol should be encoded as <
