BinText is a free and very small program that will let you view, filter and extract (save) text from any file. BinText supports plain ASCII text, unicode and Resource strings.
By using filters you can limit the text that you view and/or save. BinText will also let you search the text you found and save it on a txt file.
You can place BinText wherever you like and create a shortcut to it from your Desktop or Start Menu to open it easily.
If you use it very often, consider adding it to your SendTo menu.
