Add a Recycle Bin to flash drives, with iBin
by
·
iBin is a free utility that will let you delete files to a recycle bin when you use a removable device, like flash drives.
When you delete a file from a drive that contains iBin, you will be presented with three options: erase the data, dump the data into the Ibin container or just cancel the operation.
If the user wants to restore the data, the Dumping Management interface offers the option to select any file or folder to be restored to its original path.
A database of the erased files and folders is stored in the device root. Any file that is dropped in the iBin container is detected and registered in the database with no original path. Once the user wants to restore this data, iBin asks the user to choose a restoring path.
