WiFi Ad-hoc Manager is free and convenient and it will help you to use WiFi to connect easily your laptop with other devices, to share files or internet access.
There is nothing difficult in configuring this little app, but your network adapter should be able to support ad-hoc connections.
To check for this, just run cmd in administrator mode and write “netsh wlan show drivers”. If you see “Hosted network supported : Yes” then you can use WAHM.
The program uses a tabbed interface, letting you easily configure, enable or disable your connection. In a couple of minutes you should be ready.
WiFi Ad-hoc Manager can start automatically with Windows minimized in the system tray.
